Product Description
Celebration Japanese Maple is a striking reticulated cultivar known for its exceptionally bright pink-purple spring foliage and dramatic dark veining. The colorful new leaves have a ghost-like appearance, making 'Celebration' especially eye-catching as it leafs out in spring. It originated as a seedling of the popular 'Purple Ghost'.
As summer arrives, the foliage transitions toward cream and green while retaining its distinctive dark veining, and fresh growth can bring another flush of vibrant pink-purple color. In fall, 'Celebration' finishes with an intense fuchsia-red display. Its upright habit and constantly changing color make it an excellent specimen for collectors and landscapes where it can be viewed throughout the seasons. Protection from hot afternoon sun helps maintain its best coloration, particularly in the South.
