Product Description
Kuro Hime Japanese Maple is a distinctive dwarf cultivar prized for its compact form and beautiful contrasting foliage. New leaves emerge a vivid pink-red in spring before gradually maturing to a cool bluish-green through summer. Additional flushes of pink-red new growth can appear against the darker mature foliage, creating an almost flower-like effect throughout the growing season.
Despite its compact size, 'Kuro Hime' is a vigorous grower with a dense, upright habit, typically reaching around 4–5 feet tall. Its smaller stature makes it an excellent choice for containers, patios, small garden spaces, and Japanese-inspired landscapes. In fall, the foliage finishes the season with brilliant red color.
