Product Description
Miwa Japanese Maple is a beautiful reticulated cultivar known for its soft spring coloring and striking dark veining. New foliage emerges green with creamy-yellow variegation and may develop a delicate yellow-to-pink blush, creating a subtle but distinctive contrast across each leaf. As the season progresses, the foliage matures to green while the pronounced veining continues to add texture and interest.
In fall, 'Miwa' transforms through shades of yellow, orange, red, and purple. Its compact upright habit and unique reticulated foliage make it an excellent specimen for smaller landscapes and Japanese maple collections. The name 'Miwa' is commonly interpreted as “graceful beauty,” an especially fitting description for this cultivar.
