Product Description
Dragon’s Fire Japanese Maple is a compact weeping laceleaf cultivar known for its fiery color changes throughout the seasons. Finely dissected foliage emerges bright cherry red in spring before deepening to burgundy and taking on bronze tones as summer progresses. Its cascading branches develop into a graceful, umbrella-shaped form that works beautifully as a specimen tree or in smaller garden spaces.
Fall is when 'Dragon’s Fire' really lives up to its name. The foliage begins with brilliant yellow and orange tones before transitioning to vivid crimson red. Its compact size, weeping habit, and dramatic seasonal color make it an excellent choice for containers, patios, smaller landscapes, and Japanese maple collections.
