Product Description
Mikazuki Japanese Maple is a striking reticulated cultivar known for its incredible spring color and highly detailed foliage. New leaves emerge bright pink to pink-red with deep reddish-purple veining, creating dramatic contrast across the canopy. Its narrow, deeply divided leaves give 'Mikazuki' a delicate appearance reminiscent of the popular ghost-type Japanese maples.
As summer progresses, the foliage transitions to greenish cream and green while maintaining its prominent reticulated veining. Fall brings bright shades of golden yellow to orange. With its upright habit and constantly changing color, 'Mikazuki' makes an exceptional specimen for collectors and smaller landscapes. Protection from hot afternoon sun is especially beneficial in the South and helps preserve its spring coloration.
