Product Description
Oregon Sunset Japanese Maple is a compact, spreading cultivar prized for its rich foliage and beautiful seasonal color. Large, rounded leaves emerge a soft plum-red in spring and deepen to a darker plum and burgundy-red through the growing season. Its dense lateral branching creates a naturally broad, rounded form that works especially well in smaller landscapes.
In fall, 'Oregon Sunset' lives up to its name with brilliant shades of orange and red. Its relatively compact size, broad shape, and dependable color make it an excellent specimen for garden beds, patios, and Japanese maple collections. Protection from hot afternoon sun is recommended in warmer climates.
