Product Description
Shoryu-no-tsume Japanese Maple, also known as the Claw of the Dragon Full Moon Maple, is a unique cultivar prized for its unusual foliage and excellent cold hardiness. Its green leaves feature elongated, deeply divided lobes that resemble the claws of a dragon, giving the tree a distinctive texture unlike more traditional full moon maples.
Growing with an upright habit, 'Shoryu-no-tsume' develops into a beautiful small specimen tree with lush green foliage throughout spring and summer. In fall, the leaves transform into brilliant shades of red, creating a dramatic finish to the growing season. Its unusual leaf shape, manageable size, and cold tolerance make it an excellent choice for specimen plantings, woodland gardens, and Japanese-inspired landscapes.
