Product Description
Strawberry Spring Japanese Maple is a stunning reticulated cultivar prized for its vibrant spring color. New foliage emerges a beautiful strawberry pink with dramatic dark green veining, creating a striking contrast across each leaf. As the season progresses, the pink gradually fades to creamy green and then green, while fresh summer growth can bring another flush of pink.
In fall, 'Strawberry Spring' finishes the season with warm shades of orange and red. Its upright, moderately compact habit makes it an excellent specimen for smaller landscapes and Japanese maple collections. This cultivar was selected by Talon Buchholz as a seedling of 'Amber Ghost', making it especially appealing to collectors of reticulated maples.
